Eight teams of golfers raised more than $3,500 for the Walter Betts Memorial Scholarship
Fund during a golf outing held at Katke Golf Course on Wednesday, June 4. Planners
of this first-time golf outing say they will hold this fundraiser every year to honor
the late Dr. Walter Betts and his love for his students and the optometry profession.
