Each year, during move-in week in the fall, the IT Solution Center hosts an event for on-campus students at the David L. Eisler Center. Also, during
the first week of classes, the IT Solution Center will help students who bring their computer to the IT Solution Center offices in David L. Eisler Center. During this event, IT Solution Center technicians help students configure their computers to use the Ferris network, free
of charge. (Note, any equipment will incur a fee.)
Dates and Times: August 31st to September 3rd: 9am to 4pm
Location: UCB 116
Yes, wireless access points, switches, and ethernet cables will be available. There
will also be a selection of Microsoft and Adobe software products. For payment, credit/debit
cards and electronic payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.) are preferred.
If none of these options are available for you, purchases will be charged to your
student account. Cash is not accepted.
If you miss the event, you can bring your computer to the IT Solution Center offices located in the David L. Eisler Center at any time during normal business hours.
Unfortunately the IT Solution Center will not be taking in any computers for repair at the iConnect event. If your problem
is networking related, a technician may be able to assist you.
