Remediation Network

You'll find yourself in the Remediation Network after trying to connect to a secure network, such as FerrisWiFi, if you don't have the necessary software.

The Remediation Network is designed to ensure the security of the Ferris State University Wireless Networks. It will only allow access to those areas of the Internet where users can update their computers to comply with the wireless network's requirements.

If you see the above page, then you are now in the Remediation Network, where you'll have limited access to download the necessary software.

The software may include the following:

• An approved antivirus program. View the list of Ferris State University approved antivirus programs.
• All critical Windows' patches. View Microsoft Windows Updates.
