Graduation Fair

We are excited to announce that the Spring 2021 Graduation Fair will be taking place in various rooms throughout the University Center on Tuesday, March 2 and 9, and Thursday, March 4 and 11, from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. each of those days! 

Congratulations on your success! As you prepare for graduation, we encourage you to check out all the information below to help you plan ahead for which stations you'll visit during our one-stop-shop for all things commencement. 

It's important to remember that while we are excited to see and congratulate you in-person this year, masks must be worn at all times throughout the UC, social distancing guidelines will be followed at each station, and room capacity will always be limited to the number of people posted on the signs at each room. Have fun, stay safe, and go Bulldogs!

  •  Office of Multicultural Student Services, Room 211

    Stop by our station at grad fair to learn about the Ferris State University Black Alumni Association, learn about scholarships and fellowships for graduate students sponsored by OMSS, and learn how you can stay involved with OMSS as an alumni. 

  •  The Ferris Foundation, Room 213

    Stop by our station at grad fair to learn about The Ferris Foundation and philanthropy at Ferris, make a thank-you video for scholarship donors (see details below), and learn about One Day for Dawgs (Ferris' Day of Giving). 

     We invite you to take a moment and record a video message of gratitude for those that support the university and its students. Tell us your story of how scholarship support made an impact on your college experience. Try to limit your video to less than three minutes, but we want to hear your story so don’t be shy.

    Videos made with your phone are fine, if the content is kept appropriate. Send your completed video to [email protected]. Your video may be edited for content and length, or featured on social media and future solicitations. Thank you and congratulations on your accomplishments!

  •  First-Generation Student Services, Room 213

    Stop by our station at grad fair to get your first-gen graduation cord, grab some Ferris first-gen swag, sign up to share your Ferris first-gen story, and learn how you can help other first-gen students. 

  •  Photo Services, Room 217

    Stop by our station at grad fair to get your photo taken alone or with your friends in your favorite Ferris attire* and have your official graduation video taken! Masks cannot be removed for photos or videos per COVID-19 guidelines. 

    *No groups larger than 3 people can enter the room or have their photo taken together. Staff will not take photos using student phones or other cameras. You can purchase your cap and gown from the bookstore. Masks must be worn at all times.

  •  Exit Counseling and Financial Services

    Students who have received a subsidized, unsubsidized or PLUS loan(s) under the Direct Loan Program, must complete exit counseling each time they drop below half-time enrollment, graduate, or leave school. If you're planning on continuing your education, you still need to complete exit counseling. Exit Counseling will inform you about your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower.   •  The Bookstore

    Stop by our station at grad fair to purchase your graduation regalia*, pick out graduation gifts for your friends, purchase alumni or Ferris gear to represent your alma mater, or stop by an external vendor table while available! 

    *Regalia is available for sale in the bookstore, or it can be ordered online at https://ferris.shopoakhalli.com to be shipped (a flat-rate shipping fee will be charged).
