Students watching a concert

Our warm welcome to students each fall includes our Founders’ Day and Homecoming activities, as well as a variety of mixers and other celebrations – the perfect kickoff to a fun year filled with tons of things to do. From live performances such as concerts, comedians, guest speakers, hypnotists and magicians, to opportunities to take the stage in our theater program or popular lip sync and step show competitions, Ferris is a place to be involved and entertained.

Each year, our student organization Entertainment Unlimited brings a variety of exciting
performers to the Ferris campus – so you can see a great show or see how a great show
is made. Another favorite is our Ferris Fest, which brings national and local acts to campus for a weekend festival each spring. Williams Auditorium hosts many educational, cultural and entertainment programs throughout the year. The Festival of the Arts is a month long community wide arts event that has featured arts that range from a performance by the Grand Rapids Symphony to a seminar about welding for artists.
