Shelly Pearcy, Vice President for University Advancement and Marketing
Shelly Pearcy, Vice President for University Advancement and Marketing, has announced her upcoming retirement, after 20 years of service to Ferris and nearly 35 years in higher education. As vice president, Shelly led Ferris’ first-ever comprehensive campaign, raising more than $123 million, exceeding its goal of $115 million months ahead of schedule. The campaign has been transformational in advancing notable academic and athletics capital projects, generating new endowed scholarships and academic program support, securing planned gifts and much more. Additionally, through her roles as Vice President and Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications, she has successfully led efforts to increase the university’s brand awareness among prospective students, parents, alumni, donors and key influencers to support university-wide efforts to increase enrollment. Outside of Ferris, she has enjoyed serving on the board of the Mecosta County Visitors Bureau and attending Big Rapids community events and meetings.
