Resignations and Terminations
- Employees must submit their notification of intent to resign/retire to their supervisor/department.
- Separation of an employee requires a PAF (process immediately upon notification from
employee of separation) to notify HR and Payroll of an end of employment.
- The employee will need to contact Human Resources staff in advance of their last day
to schedule an Benefit Exit Review. The Benefit Exit Review will include information
pertaining to pay and benefits, the opportunity to continue coverage (COBRA), retirement
fund options and policies about payoff of unused leave balances.
Employees who are part of a collective bargaining unit, refer to the bargaining agreement
