Open education resources (OER) often equates to free textbooks, but OER is so much more given the increasing availability of materials like videos, models, presentation slides, and test banks. Use of OER materials allows for ease of use and updating, contributes to engaging pedagogy, and helps incorporate unique perspectives. OER may seem time consuming, but can be scaled from something quite small to large projects.

Learn how MyDegree allows you to stay responsive to student success through the new Responsive Dashboard. Recent upgrades to MyDegree replaced the Classic Dashboard with the Responsive Dashboard. Although the Responsive Dashboard has a completely different look and feel, all of the functionality remains, including worksheets, the what-if feature, and the ability to create academic plans while also allowing the ability to access MyDegree via mobile device.

OneDrive is a cloud-based file storage system that provides space for you to store and share your personal files from devices with an Internet connection - laptops, PCs, tablets, and smart phones. All Ferris employees and students have access to OneDrive through their Microsoft 365 account. OneDrive provides the capability to share files with others and set custom security settings so only the intended audience can view or edit what is shared.
