Notification of Approval

Secondary instructors who are approved by Ferris State University to teach courses through the FerrisNow Program will receive a letter of approval.

Instructors should sign and return their letters of approval to the Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships within one week of receipt.

Should an instructor not meet the qualifications for concurrent enrollment, the Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships will contact the teacher and the teacher’s school administrator.

Timeline of Approval

New instructors may apply at any time, as the review of applicants takes place on an on-going basis.

It can take 2 weeks to 3 months for instructor applications to be reviewed and approved. Instructors receive a notification from the FerrisNow program after the faculty and academic college has approved their application.

Instructors should submit their application materials at least one semester before they wish to offer the Ferris course.
