Fall 2020 Important Information

Housing and Residence Life will provide regular updates to the following information leading up to the Fall 2020 semester

  • All parking permits must be purchased online. You will no longer have the option of purchasing them in person at our office. Commuter & Apartment parking permits will be available for online purchase beginning Monday, July 6 for the 2020-2021 fall/spring semester. Residence Hall permits are scheduled for Monday, August 3. Commuter permits purchased online between July 6 and August 16 will be mailed to your home address on file in the Ferris system. It is incumbent on each student to ensure that their current address is correct in the Ferris system BEFORE purchasing a parking permit online. You may verify/update your address in your MyFSU. Click here verify/update instructions. Additional information regarding residence hall and apartment permits will be sent at a later date.

  • The housing rates for the 2020/2021 academic year have changed!  Please see our Housing Rates page for more information.

  • North Hall pricing will remain the same for the 2020/2021 academic year.  Additionally, North hall will remain as double rooms.

    Can I have a single room in North Hall?

    North Hall is remaining as doubles only and single spaces will not be available in the building.

    Can I change from my North Hall space to a single room on campus?

    If you would like to change to a single room in another building (not North hall) from your current North Hall double space, you will be able to do so starting June 29th during our room change selection process.

  • We have expanded our number of single rooms available to include more options!  The following is a break down of how our residence halls will be structured.

    3 per suite (1 Double room and 1 Single Room) Buildings:

    Cramer Hall
    Merrill Hall


  • West Campus Apartments and East Campus Suites will remain as 1 student per bedroom for the 2020/2021 academic year.  Both area's pricing will also remain the same.
  • Honors buildings will be Puterbaugh, Henderson, and Pickell halls. 
  • The waiting list remain open, and students on the waiting list will stay on it unless they remove themselves or request to be removed.  We will resume waiting list placements in the near future.
