The fair will include a variety of FSU and Big Rapids organizations with a focus on women issues.     It's a meet-up for women who are lesbian, bisexual, queer, ace/aro, trans (including nonbinary women), and questioning! Network with women in the LGBTQ+ community and see what people are doing to survive and thrive at Ferris, listen to or tell terrible lesbian U-Haul jokes, talk about the most interesting representations of queer women in the media or in politics, figure out how to support each other and how to resist misogynoir, trans misogyny, and patriarchy, or talk about anything else your hearts desire. This is a safer space for women, so if you are not a woman please respect that, and if you show up we trust that you are a woman! You know best who you are.

    “On the Basis of Sex” is inspired by the true story of a young Ruth Bader Ginsburg – then a struggling attorney and new mother who faces adversity and numerous obstacles in her fight for equal rights throughout her career.
