  • Corporate and Professional Development can offer a multitude of consulting services.  The Corporate & Professional Development Center provides field tested personnel to assist business, industry and the professions in problem solving of many types.

    CPD's association with the College of Engineering Technology affords an ideal environment for applied research and development.  CPD can assist in transforming research into product commercialization.  Professors with extensive industry background, students eager to apply their learning, and computer/laboratory resources can assist you in areas such as design, product/process development, testing, etc.

  • CPD delivers business and industry clients effective workforce development tailored to meet their specific needs.  With a resource base that spans Ferris State University, CPD offers wide-ranging employee development services that includes both focused, individualized training courses and comprehensive employee development strategies.  CPD uses only well qualified instructors to carry forward the Ferris philosophy of practical and applied learning into the workplace.  Training can be delivered on-site, on-campus, or through other creative formats.

  • The Heavy Equipment Institute is an outreach training program provided through Ferris State University.  These open registration courses deliver effective hands-on training for those working in the trucking and heavy equipment industries.

  • The Manufacturing Institute is an outreach training program provided through Ferris State University that targets today's industry needs.  These courses integrate learning and practice to effectively build knowledge and skills for manufacturing professionals at any level.

  • The Mini MBA Management and Leadership Development program is ideal for business professionals who seek to effectively refresh their skills and knowledge in current management and Leadership practices.  The Mini MBA will also provide employees, whose talents have promoted them into a management track, an applied understanding of business concepts and practices that can help them succeed as leaders.  Experienced College of Business faculty will lead your participants through this comprehensive and highly customizable program.  Session can be delivered through on-site, on-campus, or mix formats utilizing internet based technologies.
