The Department of Public Safety offers guest permits free of charge.
Parents, relatives and visitors who visit campus must obtain a guest permit. Permits
may be obtained online via the online guest permit portal, in-person at the Department
of Public Safety or MyBulldog Service Center. You need a valid Driver's License and Vehicle Registration in order to obtain a guest permit. Permits will be issued for designated areas and
times. The list of designated lots can be found here.
Visitor parking will be allowed in residence hall lots on Friday, starting at 5 p.m., through Monday, until 2 a.m. Otherwise, the guest will be placed in an overflow lot. All the same rules and regulations apply to guests as they do members of Ferris State University. Guests/visitors of campus during the summertime do not need a guest permit.
Students, faculty and staff are not considered guests of the University and will not be able to obtain a permit through the online system.
