January 17, 2019Food for Fines

In an effort to extend the giving season beyond the holidays, the Department of Public Safety is teaming up with Wesley House, the student operated food pantry on campus, to bring in donations beyond the standard holiday season.

Students may now pay off parking tickets issued in the month of January by donating non-perishable, unexpired food items at the Parking Office during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm) from February 1st - February 8th.

Donation amounts are as follows:

  • 5 items are equal to a $10 ticket
  • 10 items are equal to a $20 ticket
  • 2 items are equal to a $5 late fee
  • $100 tickets excluded (Fire Lane & Handicap violations)
