Student Employee of the Year 2017-2018

We are fortunate to hire and work with student employees each year to assist in the various functions and services we provide to the campus community.

Each academic year, one student employee is selected to receive the Student Employee of the Year award for their outstanding service to the community. Students are nominated by patrol officers and support staff who feel the student has embodied Ferris State University's Core Values and the department's mission and vision statement.

Congratulations to Charlotte Halm on being selected as our 2017 - 2018 Student Employee of the Year. Charlotte has worked for our agency since July 2014 and served as a student dispatcher, service officer and foot patrol officer.

Charlotte graduated this spring with her Bachelor's Degree from the Ferris State Social Work Program. She will return this fall in the social work graduate program. Charlotte was given a conditional offer last week to an agency out-of-county for a full-time position and begins her journey next Monday. She will be missed!

Thank you for your outstanding service and best of luck in your future endeavors!
