Travel Guidance as of February 8, 2021
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention travel website indicates that travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19 and recommends that you do not travel at this time. However, if you choose to travel, all faculty, staff and students are encouraged to, prior to making any travel arrangements, consider the COVID-19 risk level at your destination.
- For domestic travel, the CDC’s travel guidelines provide information and risk level by country and state. Some states may have testing or quarantine requirements. Get important information as you consider traveling to different cities and states across the United States by using the CDC’s Travel Planner. Just enter a city, zip code or address to learn more about COVID-19 travel restrictions, guidance and resources in your destination.
- For international travel, individuals are encouraged to consult the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) travel recommendations by country.
All University-sponsored international travel remains suspended, and only essential and necessary University-sponsored domestic travel should occur with vice presidential approval.
