The Re-entry Committee is excited to welcome you back to campus if you have been working remotely! Don’t forget to attend the Welcome Back reception on the Robinson Quad (adjacent to the University Center) today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also get a COVID-19 vaccine if you have not received one yet. You can sign-up for an appointment today in the Healthy Dog Portal, but walk-ups will be accommodated. While the University strongly encourages vaccination for all faculty, staff and students, it is not required.
Please remember to complete the COVID-19 symptom checker before you come to campus each day, even if you are fully vaccinated. After doing so, you can also document your vaccine status, if you have not yet done so. Just click on the new form called “Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 Documentation.” It is located directly under “COVID-19 Daily Check-in for Employees” We ask that all employees complete this form once. If you do not complete the form, the University will assume you are unvaccinated, and you will be required to wear a mask if you cannot maintain 6ft of distance from others.
Also, if you have not had a chance to review the University’s COVID-19 Preparedness Response Plan or watch the updated tutorial, “COVID-19 Workplace Guidelines,” please take a few moments to do both. For access to the tutorial visit www.gcntraining.com. The login information is as follows:
Organization ID: ferrisstateuniversity
User ID: Your Banner Employee ID number or FSU Student ID number
NOTE: If you have viewed the previous version of this tutorial, it will show as completed. You will still need to view the updated version. Once you have completed the updated tutorial, it will show you have completed the updated version.
Ferris Health Reminders
To continue to keep our work areas healthy and safe, please remember to do the following:
- complete the daily symptom checker each day you are coming to campus, even if you are fully vaccinated;
- wear a mask if you are unvaccinated and cannot maintain 6ft of distance between yourself and others;
- wash your hands often, for at least 20 seconds, with soap and water; and

The University is continuing to offer asymptomatic COVID-19 testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Pharmacy Care Clinic, located on the first floor of the Pharmacy Building. Please visit the COVID-19 Testing Schedule to make an appointment.
The FSU Re-entry Committee greatly appreciates the considerable efforts made by our University community to ensure a safe and successful return to work. If you have questions, please contact the committee at [email protected] for assistance. Together, we can keep our University and each other safe, healthy and moving forward toward the fall semester.
