June 9, 2021
To celebrate the return of staff to campus, the University is hosting a Welcome Back reception on the Robinson Quad (adjacent to the University Center) on Monday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Snacks and refreshments will be available. It will be wonderful to see our colleagues and friends back on campus.
On this day, employees will also have the opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. The Birkam Health Center team and College of Pharmacy volunteers will host a Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic on the lawn outside the Birkam Health Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain location: inside Birkam Health Center). We encourage you to sign-up in advance within the Healthy Dog Portal, but walk-ups will be accommodated.
Employees, students and their household members (age 16 and over) who are not available for Monday’s clinic and/or who would prefer the two-dose Pfizer vaccine may schedule a vaccine appointment within the Healthy Dog Portal for any Monday, Wednesday or Thursday in June and July (except Monday, July 5) between 8:10-11:30 a.m. and 1:10-4:30 p.m.
While the University strongly encourages vaccination for all faculty, staff and students, it is not required.
