Ferris State University Spring Virtual Commencement Highlights 2,000 Class of 2021 Graduates

Ferris State University will salute its spring Class of 2021 graduates on Saturday, May 1. Approximately 2,000 graduates will have slides featured during the virtual commencement ceremonies available at 9 a.m. via a link to the virtual commencement page. The four ceremonies will be presented via the Ferris State Video YouTube channel, which will broadcast the sessions that will include pre-recorded messages and short videos designed to replicate a traditional graduation procession.

Ceremony one features the College of Health Professions and Michigan College of Optometry graduates. Ceremony two highlights the College of Arts, Sciences and Education, Doctorate in Community College Leadership and College of Pharmacy graduates. The third ceremony celebrates the College of the Business graduates while the fourth salutes graduates of the College of Engineering Technology. Kendall College of Art and Design will also host its virtual commencement on Saturday, May 1, at 10 a.m. KCAD’s ceremony will be streamed via KCAD’s Facebook page.

Virtual commencement ceremonies speakers include remarks from Amna Seibold, chair of the Board of Trustees, who will offer a greeting. President David Eisler will address graduates of the Class of 2021.

Viewers, via YouTube, can interact using a live chat function during the ceremonies. Further, commencement conversations and information will be featured throughout social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, using the hashtags #DawgsOut21 and #FerrisGrad2021.
