Hello Bulldogs,
As Vice President for Student Affairs, I wanted to share some important information with you relative to contract negotiations with our faculty.
Negotiations have continued throughout the weekend, and an agreement has not been reached. On Monday and into the week, it is possible you may see faculty picketing on campus. Their actions should not keep you from going to classes or using University facilities.
What we want you to be aware of is the following – come Monday morning, the University will be open, classes will remain as scheduled, events and activities will go on as planned. There will be a lot of fun things to do over the next two weeks – you can see the complete schedule on the Bulldog Beginnings website.
We understand this could cause some uncertainty. You are our number one priority. We are committed to you, your education and future success.
