‘We Are Not Ghosts’ Screening and Discussion to Address Stereotypes

A screening and discussion of the film “We Are Not Ghosts” will take place Monday, Oct. 12 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in University Center, Room 202C.

“We Are Not Ghosts” focuses on Detroit and how its people rebuild their city with new businesses, schools, urban gardens and performing arts.

A goal for event organizers is that the film will spur discussion about tensions fueled by stereotypes. Ferris student leaders, faculty, staff, and community members will share their experiences relative to the issues presented in the film.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to (231) 591-3826 or email.

This event is part of the Speak UP: Lessons from Community series sponsored by the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning.
