The event will include live music and light refreshments. Various tabletop trifold displays showcasing “Unity” were created by Ferris students for this event and will be on display during the ball. Semi-formal attire is encouraged.

“Students should attend the Student Tribute and Unity Ball to learn about how student organizations promote unity on campus, and to engage with one another in a festive celebratory event to honor Dr. King’s legacy,” said Michael Wade, assistant director of Ferris’ Office of Multicultural Student Services.

The MLK Unity Ball is co-sponsored by Student Government, Black Greek Council, International Student Organization, Residence Hall Association and the Office of Multicultural Student Services. This event is free and open to the public.
