Michael WadeCome dance the night away at Ferris State University’s 2015 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Student Tribute and Unity Ball on Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 8 to 11 p.m.

The MLK Student Tribute and Unity Ball will round off a three-day celebration in honor of slain civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. The ball will take place in University Center, Room 202A. The event will include live music and light refreshments. Various tabletop trifold displays showcasing “Unity” were created by Ferris students for this event and will be on display during the ball. Semi-formal attire is encouraged.

“Students should attend the Student Tribute and Unity Ball to learn about how student organizations promote unity on campus, and to engage with one another in a festive celebratory event to honor Dr. King’s legacy,” said Michael Wade, assistant director of Ferris’ Office of Multicultural Student Services.

The MLK Unity Ball is co-sponsored by Student Government, Black Greek Council, International Student Organization, Residence Hall Association and the Office of Multicultural Student Services. This event is free and open to the public.

This is the 29th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration held at Ferris.
