Save Your Vision Reading Event

Ferris State University is holding a Save Your Vision Reading Event on March 3 at 11 a.m. at Tot’s Place Child Development Center. Patsy Eisler, wife of Ferris President David Eisler, and Dr. David Damari’s, MCO Dean, wife Rita, will be reading to the children in two different classrooms at Tot’s place along with leading activities during the event.

Dramatic play items will be donated from the College of Optometry to Tot’s Place. Children’s white coats, in three different sizes, will also be passed out to some children along with an eye chart and various tools that an Optometrist would use. Bookmarks will also be provided for a craft project, in addition to coloring books, pencils, magnets, goody bags, and information that the children can take home to share with their parents.

Dr. David Durkee from MCO will be at the event as well to explain about visiting the optometrist’s office at University Eye Center for the first time as well as Vision Therapy.
