Communications

  • Notify the Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships if issues affecting a Concurrent Enrollment, College Readiness, or Woodbridge Promise course arise

Course Curriculum

  • Approve the course curriculum, high school teacher’s credentials (according to departmental and college guidelines) and submit approval to the Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships
  • Review and approve curriculum, instructional materials, course outline and assessment methods on an annual basis
  • Assign a faculty or department head to each secondary instructor to act as their mentor and liaison during the course

Course Evaluations

  • Submit request to Ferris Academic Affairs to have all Concurrent Enrollment, College Readiness, or Woodbridge Promise courses evaluated

High School/Career and Technical Education Instructor Professional Development

  • Meet with the FerrisNow instructors annually to review the course curriculum, learning outcomes, and any changes to the curriculum
  • Provide additional discipline-specific training when available
