Confocal Microscopy Using confocal microscopy one is able to view the characteristics of the cornea at a cellular level to monitor for size or shape changes. It is very helpful in monitoring and differentiating various conditions of the eye, whether they be caused by age, contact lens wear, or systemic diseases.
