Primary Care and Ocular Disease Resident
Dr. Jaana Ashtiani is one of the current ocular disease/primary care residents at John D. Dingell VAMC. She graduated from Novi High School and then proceeded to Michigan State University where she obtained a Bachelors in Human Biology. Immediately after completing her undergraduate degree she began optometry school at the Illinois College of Optometry. She hopes to complete her residency and fellowship, and to continue working within the VA system with hopes of opening a practice in the Metro-Detroit area as well in the near future.
