Connie is a graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television Production and a Master of Science and emphasis in Instructional Design and Technology at Northern Illinois University.

She has produced education and training content for many companies and non-profit organizations.  Connie was instrumental in creating the digital media component of the Television and Digital Media Production (TDMP) program.  Connie teaches digital media courses, Instructional Design and oversees social storytelling on a TDMP student-produced website.  She continues to embrace new technologies and design thinking through communication and training with attends workshops and conferences such as the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA).

Connie fosters academic collaboration, learning, and initiatives for students, through Academic Service Learning and the Ferris Foundation including a series of videos for the Michigan Career Pathways.  She was selected as a Fellow Resident faculty member with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in Hollywood and has led several cultural enrichment opportunities for students through TDMP Study Abroad to England and Paris.
