The Retention and Student Success Unit (R&SS) provides part-time students with a streamlined way to early register for classes on the FSU campus. An admitted student wishing to enroll in a non-degree status may register through the R&SS Student Services Office located in Arts & Science Commons (ASC) 1048. Enrollment is restricted to a maximum of 9 credits per term and a total of 15 credits as a non-degree student.
In order to register, you must me currently admitted to FSU. If you are not already admitted to the University, you can complete the process by accessing the Ferris website to complete an on-line application. To register for classes contact Shelly VandePanne at (231) 591-2360.

CARE 102 – Career and Education Planning
The CARE 102 course is a three-credit hour class that guides you through the career decision-making process. CARE 102 offers you opportunities for self-evaluation, career and educational planning, and the development of decision-making skills. CARE faculty members help you explore career development as a lifelong process through the use of self-assessment inventories, group discussion, and individual projects.
