Growing Opportunity 2022

Ferris State University in Grand Rapids works with under-connected and under-represented communities: listening, identifying needs, and finding partners. Since 1991, Ferris in Grand Rapids has been building bridges for the educational and professional achievement of current and future students while cultivating a vibrant and supportive community around them.

This important work is not done alone, in a vacuum. Authentic and lasting change requires a network of organizational leaders across the community investing in relationships of trust and respect. Since 2003, Ferris President David Eisler has embraced this ideal. In his final weeks leading the University, our 2022 Growing Opportunity event will showcase the history of Ferris in Grand Rapids, and the path forward leaders like Dr. Eisler pave for our students, neighbors, and communities.

Proceeds from this event are matched 1:1 and support the West Michigan Opportunity Scholarship Fund at Ferris State University.
