Criminal Justice Camp

Want to -

· Drive a police car?

· Tour a courtroom and jail?

· Take real defensive tactics training?

· Operate a fire truck?

· Compare real police work to what you see on TV?

· Investigate a realistic crime scene?

 

Then you will want to investigate the 2008 Criminal Justice Camp at Ferris State University!

GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS:

· 16-19 yrs. of age,

· High School Junior or Senior

· Good health, Physical condition

· Capable of physical exercise and strict discipline

· Interested in Criminal Justice Career

· Good School Attendance

· Good Citizenship

· Valid Drivers License or Permit

· No felony record

· Minimum GPA of 2.0

 

The fun week of learning will include:

 

· Criminal Law Application

· Jail Tour

· Defensive Tactics

· Fire Safety

· Criminal Investigation and Police Ethics

· Skid Car

· Crime Scene Investigation

 

Recreation & Social Activities

In addition to the fun hands-on learning, students will have plenty of opportunity for recreation and social activities at the camp. 

 

Highlights include:

· Swimming

· FSU Ropes Course

· Group activities
