1. Close all open programs.

2. Right-click the Symantec AntiVirus icon on the system tray in the bottom right corner and choose Open Symantec AntiVirus.

2. Select Scan - Full Scan.

3. Wait while AntiVirus scans the drives (may take 30 minutes or longer).

4. When the scan is complete, close the scan window.
