Home / Getting Connected / Network Benefits

When computers are "connected" to the University network, they can share information and resources that would otherwise not be available. By "logging-on" the network, the student can benefit in a number of ways.

A student can:

1. Print to the front desk laser printer.
2. Securely store files on their own networked home directory (up to 10 MB total). Once a file is stored in this location, it can be accessed from any computer. Your files can be accessed here . Login using your MyFSU username and password.
3. Access resources on the Ferris network through the World Wide Web.
4. Access Ferris' high speed Internet connection.

GAMERS!!!
If you want to use your gaming system (ie XBox360, GameCube, or PS2) on Ferris's network please click here.
