- The 802.11b and 802.11g protocols are supported.
- If your device is 802.11n compatible, it should work with our access points, but we cannot guarantee proper and efficient operation.
- New access points shall be configured by ITS staff.
- Non-residential facilities shall not install wireless access points without approval and coordination with ITS.
- In on-campus residential facilities, wireless routers are not allowed.
- ITS will keep a master list of the location, owner, and configuration of each access point on campus.
- The Clean Access client is required for authentication within residence halls. The Clean Access client software is provided by Ferris.
