If you are able to get though Cisco Clean Access, but cannot get to any web sites after that using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, try looking into these settings:

 

For Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. From the menu bar at the top, choose Tools and then Internet Options.
  3. Choose Connections.
  4. Click the LAN settings button.  You should see a window that looks like this:

  1. Delete the information from the Address and Port dialog boxes. (1)
  2. Uncheck the "Bypass proxy server for local address" check box (2)
  3. Uncheck the " Use proxy server for your LAN" checkbox. (2)
  4. Make sure the “Automatically detect settings” box IS checked.
  5. Click OK, and OK again on the Internet Options page.
  6. Your LAN settings should then be the same as shown in the image below.

For Firefox:

 

  1. Click Options under the Tools menu
  2. Click the Advanced button
  3. Click the Network tab
  4. Click on the Settings button

  • Make sure the circle next to “Direct connection to the Internet” is filled in.
  • Everything else should be clear.

You should be all set to use Mozilla Firefox again.
