Ferris State's surveying team win the National Society of Professional Surveyors student competition for the second consecutive year.

The competition took place at the 2007 American Congress on Surveying and Mapping conference in St. Louis. MO.

The competition included three tasks: writing a scientific article about Railroad Surveying including railroad geometry and spirals math, performing highway curve calculations, and staking out a highway curve on the ground using field surveying techniques.
