High School: Received All-Capital Area Activities Conference laurels in both junior and senior seasons . . . Played for coach David Saenz at Jackson Northwest High School . . . A 2007 graduate . . . Helped lead NHS to a 38-12 overall record and a conference title as a senior in the 2006-07 campaign after registering 518 kills and 480 digs . . . Posted 292 kills and 90 block solos during junior year in 2005-06 . . . Served as team captain in her senior season and was selected as the squad’s Most Valuable Player . . . Her prep volleyball team won a silver division championship at the 2007 Ferris State Invitational . . . Also participated in both basketball and softball along with being on the link crew team for two seasons . . . Garnered all-conference accolades in basketball as a senior and achieved conference honorable mention laurels in softball for the 2006 campaign.
