WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!

For the 17th consecutive season, the Ferris State Women's Tennis Team has captured the GLIAC conference title in Midland, Mich. The Bulldogs dominated the tournament with 5-0 wins against Lake Superior and Northwood before crushing Northern Michigan in the final, 9-0. During these flawless performances, Ferris did not lose a set and extended its conference dual-match win streak to 152 straight. FSU finished the season with an incredible 73-5 singles and 39-0 doubles conference record.

Amy Tylutki and Suzanne Batten were honorable mentions for GLIAC All-Conference while Ellen Frost was selected to the All-GLIAC second team. Undefeated freshman Barbora Jilkova was named first team All-GLIAC as well as #1 singles player Jennifer Garvey, who was selected both first team All-Conference and as "GLIAC Player of the Year" for her outstanding season.

"These ladies played with incredible heart, desire and focus this weekend. This was an awesome finish to a tremendous season and I couldn’t be more proud of our team. This was a great way to begin my coaching career and I am looking forward to a very tough spring schedule and hopefully a chance to return to nationals as a team."

FSU Women's Tennis Coach
