Senior catcher-designated player Melissa Worsley (Midland) has totaled a team-high five multi-hit game performances this season. She started out the 2005 season with two base hits apiece in her initial two contests against East Stroudsburg (3/5) and California, Pa. (3/5), respectively. Worsley is presently midst a four-game hitting streak and is batting .429 (6-14) during that span.

Melissa Worsley, who has a team-leading four doubles this campaign, has compiled 21 career doubles in 119 games to date. She's presently tied with Becky VanderBee (1994-97) and Marianne Gepfrey (1989-92) for 13th place on FSU's career list.

Sophomore first baseman Laura Crower's (Midland) six RBI's this season in 10 contests already surpasses her five RBI's in 27 outings a season ago.

Senior pitcher Rachel Chartier (Marquette) moved into a tie for 16th place among Ferris State's all-time pitching wins leaders by registering her 13th career victory with a complete-game triumph over Central Missouri State (3/12) at the Florida Rebel Spring Tourney. Chartier, who has compiled a 13-15 career mark in 40 appearances, is currently tied with Sharalee Boda (1980-81) and is four wins away from tying Cindy Young (1986-89), Jill Sherrill (1989-90) and Peggy Maddelein (1984-87) for 13th place.

Sophomore catcher-designated player Allison McKibbin (Hemlock) smacked a game-winning grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Ferris State to an 8-6 victory over Saint Rose, N.Y. (3/11) at the Florida Rebel Spring Tournament. The roundtripper was the first for McKibbin, who is five hits shy of matching last season's 13 total hits in 24 contests.

Sophomore pitcher Jenna Thiede (LaSalle/Airport) sports a 2-2 mark with a 4.12 ERA in 24.0 innings through four appearances this campaign. Her best outing was a four-hit complete-game 3-2 decision over New Haven (3/6). A season ago in the Bulldogs' 12-game Florida swing, Thiede went 0-5 with a 5.20 ERA for 35.0 innings in seven encounters.
