Ferris State University's softball non-league doubleheader against Lewis University scheduled for today (April 8) has been cancelled because of weather and wet field conditions at the FSU Varsity Softball Field in Big Rapids, Mich.
The Diamond Dawgs, who have won 10 of their last 11 contests and winners of their last seven contests to date, are 11-14-1 overall and 6-0 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) this season.
FSU will host the Hillsdale Chargers this Friday (April 9) in a conference twinbill before going up against the Wayne State Warriors Saturday (April 10). Start time for the respective doubleheader openers is set for 1 p.m. (EDT).
