Freshman midfielder Stefanie Smolinski scored the first goal in FSU women's soccer history during a 2-1 loss versus Findlay, Oct. 27.

FSU played its first home soccer match in school history Sept. 18, losing 1-0 to Saginaw Valley. Goalkeeper Sarah Kyde made a combined 22 saves in two matches last weekend, including a 5-0 loss at Hillsdale, Sept. 19.

FSU's match at Goshen College of Indiana was the first women's soccer match in school history. The Bulldogs played strong defensively in their varsity debut and fell 1-0.
