Senior midfielder Jen Gaylor (Roscommon) and senior forward Lindsey Pawloski (Royal Oak/Kimball) of the 2005 Ferris State University women's soccer team have both been honored as All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) selections in an announcement made by the league office.

Gaylor received first-team conference kudos while Pawloski was a second team choice for the second consecutive season. Eleven players each were named to both the first and second teams in balloting by the league's nine member head coaches.

The 5-9 Gaylor, who missed all of the 2004 campaign due to injury, compiled a team-leading 10 goals this season. Her 20 total points included three game-winning markers along with one hat trick performance in Ferris' 4-1 league home victory over Gannon (Oct. 7). Gaylor also claimed GLIAC Player of the Week Award accolades once (Oct. 10) this campaign.

A 2003 All-GLIAC Second Team honoree, Gaylor concluded her career listed fourth among the program's all-time scoring leaders with 47 career points on 20 goals and seven assists in 73 career outings. Gaylor's 20 career markers also places her fourth on the school's career goal-scoring chart. Her recognition this season represents the first time a FSU player has received first-team conference laurels since Emily Rogers and Lisa O'Brian both earned the distinction in 2003.

The 5-9 Pawloski tallied a team-high 21 points on nine goals and three assists in 18 outings this campaign. Pawloski's 21 points in 2005 ranked seventh on the school's single-season leaders list. The 2003 & 2004 GLIAC All-Academic Team honoree finished her career ranked tied for second place on the school's all-time points leaders list with 59 (24-11--59) career points.

Pawloski's 24 career markers is also listed tied for second to date on the school's all-time goal scoring chart while her 11 assists is presently tied for third place in school history. Her nine goals this year represented the eighth-best single season figure at FSU. She also had three game-winning goals this campaign and tallied a hat trick with three goals in FSU's 4-0 GLIAC road shutout at Findlay (Oct. 16).

Gaylor concluded the season ranked eighth in goals (0.56 gpg) while Pawloski was tied for ninth (0.50 gpg) among the GLIAC's overall statistical leaders. Pawloski also ranked ninth in total points (1.17 ppg) and Gaylor finished 10th (1.11 ppg) in the same category.

Ferris, which won 10 of its final 14 outings this campaign, wrapped up its 2005 slate with an 11-7 overall record and a fourth place 5-3 GLIAC mark. FSU's 11 victories this season under third-year head coach Melissa Lalonde tied for the program's most wins in school history.
