Junior forward Lindsey Pawloski (Royal Oak/Kimball) of the 2004 Ferris State University women's soccer team has been honored as an All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Second Team selection as announced by the league office.
Eleven players each were named to both the first and second teams in balloting by the league's member head coaches.
The 5-9 Pawloski tallied a team-high 23 points on 10 goals and three assists in 19 outings this campaign. She placed tied for eighth in points and seventh in goals (0.53 gpg) among the conference leaders this season.
Pawloski's 23 points in 2004 ranked sixth on the school's single-season leaders list and was three away from matching Emily Rogers' fifth-place total of 26 points (11-4-26) compiled during the 2000 campaign. The 2003 GLIAC All-Academic Team honoree currently ranks third on the school's all-time points leaders list with 38 (15-8--38) career points.
Pawloski's 15 career markers is listed third to date on the school's all-time goal scoring chart while her eight assists is presently fifth in school history. Her 10 goals this year represented the fifth-best single season figure at FSU. She also had two game-winning goals this campaign.
Ferris State concluded the 2004 campaign with an 9-9-1 overall mark under second-year head coach Melissa Lalonde, which represented the program's second-best performance in its five-year history and included a fifth place 3-5 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) finish.
