Rogers tallied four goals and posted two multi-goal efforts as Ferris State improved to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in GLIAC action. She scored two goals, including the game-winner, in last Thursday's (Oct. 2) 3-2 conference-opening triumph at Northwood, which ended an 18-day layoff for FSU. The 5-6 Rogers added two goals in Sunday's (Oct. 5) 5-2 league home victory over Saginaw Valley State.

Rogers, who currently ranks as Ferris State's second-leading scorer with seven goals and six assists this campaign, totaled seven total shots in the two contests and had a .571 shot percentage.

In the win over SVSU, Rogers also notched her 100th career point and currently has 101 career points in 60 outings. She is Ferris' career leader in points, goals (39) and assists (23) to date. Rogers also holds school single-season marks for goals (11-2000 & 2002), points (28-2001) and assists (8-2001).

During the 2002 campaign, Rogers was the team's scoring leader with 27 points on 11 goals and five assists. She registered two game-winning goals while starting 20 contests.

Ferris' current 6-2 mark this season ranks as the school's best record in its initial eight outings of a campaign while its 2-0 league start marks only the second-time the Bulldogs have opened conference play with two wins in the program's five-year history. The Bulldogs are three wins shy of setting a school record for most victories in a single campaign.

Ferris State will visit Northern Michigan Sunday, Oct. 12, for an 11 a.m. (EDT) league tilt in Marquette, Mich.
