The Ferris State University men's ice hockey team will hold its 2005-06 season awards banquet Friday, April 21, at the Falcon Head Golf Club in Big Rapids, Mich.
Sponsored by the FSU Blue Line Club, the awards program will honor the 25 student-athletes on the 2005-06 Bulldog Hockey team and their accomplishments.
The event will feature video highlights from the 2005-06 campaign, various team and individual awards, and remarks from Ferris State head coach Bob Daniels. A special highlight of the banquet will be speeches given by the Bulldogs' four graduating seniors - Tom Mueller (Cadillac), assistant captain Greg Rallo (Gurnee, Ill.), assistant captain Nick Scheible (Big Rapids), and Andrew Winnik (Mississauga, Ontario). Ferris Blue Line Club President Kevin Courtney will serve as the banquet's master of ceremonies.
The banquet will begin with a social from 6-6:30 p.m. (EDT) proceeded by dinner from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (EDT). The awards program is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. (EDT).
Cost for the awards banquet is $20 per person, $10 for children ages 5-8 while children under age 5 will be admitted free of charge.

Ferris State concluded the 2005-06 season at 17-15-8 overall with a sixth-place tying 10-11-7 mark in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). The Bulldogs, who totaled 27 league points this season, advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 2006 CCHA Playoffs.
