Both teams will enter next weekend’s key CCHA series nationally ranked as Ferris State is off to its second-best start ever in the program’s 25-year history as a NCAA Division I member with a 17-6-1 overall record. The Bulldogs, who are ranked as high as ninth this week by Inside College Hockey.com, currently are first in the CCHA standings at 12-3-1 which is the best league mark to date in school history.
Ferris State has already had two sellouts this campaign – against Michigan State (Dec. 6) and versus Notre Dame (Jan. 11).
Game tickets for the remaining three regular-season home games are still available by contacting the FSU Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888. Ferris will host the Western Michigan University Broncos Saturday, Feb. 15, at 7:05 p.m. (EST) before wrapping up home regular-season league play with a two-game set against the University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks, Feb. 28-March 1.
