Aaron Lewicki
Aaron Lewicki designated as Ferris State's CCHA Scholar-Athlete for the 2007-08 season.

The faculty representative at each CCHA-member school, in consultation with the head coach, selected their institution's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Each school's Scholar-Athlete of the Year serves as the school's nominee for CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Nominees must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 through the fall term of the selection year to receive their school's Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. The CCHA Scholar-Athlete of the Year is selected by the 12 faculty representatives at each CCHA-member school. Voting is based on a system awarding five points for a first-place vote, three points for a second-place vote and one point for a third-place vote.

Lewicki, a finance major, presently ranks ninth among the Ferris State's leading points producers with 13 points on four goals and nine assists in 36 games. The 6-0, 194-pound center has registered a power-play goal, one short-handed tally, and a game-winning lamplighter this campaign to date. Lewicki has posted at least a point in 13 contests this season. In 68 career outings, Lewicki has compiled 28 points with 13 goals and 15 assists to go along with 10 penalties for 20 minutes. He has produced two power-play tallies, one short-hander, and three game-winning markers in his Bulldog career.
