FERRIS STATE TO HOST HIGH SCHOOL REGIONAL TOURNAMENT

The Ferris State University Athletics Department will host the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Class B Boys Basketball Region No. 15 Tournament beginning Tuesday, March 16, in FSU's Jim Wink Arena at Big Rapids, Mich.
The three-game tournament tips off this Tuesday (March 16) at 7 p.m. (EST). The opening game pits Fremont versus Muskegon Heights. Tournament action continues Wednesday, March 17, as Cedar Springs and East Grand Rapids square off at 7 p.m. (EST). Each of the four competing teams were crowned in district final action this past weekend.
The regional championship game, which features the winners of games one and two, is slated for Saturday, March 20, at 2 p.m. (EST). Saturday's regional champion will advance to a MHSAA Class B State Quarterfinal round contest slated to be held Tuesday, March 23, at Houghton Lake, Mich.
Individual game tickets for the regional tournament are $5 and can be obtained by contacting the respective competing schools or by calling the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888.
