FERRIS STATE TO HOST HIGH SCHOOL REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
MHSAA Class B Boys Basketball Regional Will Be Held At Jim Wink Arena
The Ferris State University Athletics Department will host the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Class B Boys Basketball Region No. 15 Tournament beginning Wednesday, March 12, in FSU’s Jim Wink Arena at Big Rapids, Mich.
The three-game tournament will tipoff Wednesday (March 12) at 7 p.m. (EST). The opening game pits the winner of the Cedar Springs district (#53) versus the Grand Rapids Catholic Central district (#48) champion. Tournament action continues Thursday, March 13, as the winners of the Allendale (#51) and Big Rapids (#52) districts square off at 7 p.m. (EST). Each of the four competing teams will be crowned in district final action this weekend (March 7-8).
The regional championship game, which features the winners of games one and two, is slated for Saturday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. (EST). Saturday’s regional champion will advance to a MHSAA Class B State Quarterfinal round contest slated to be held Tuesday, March 18, at Houghton Lake, Mich.
