FSU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION HOLDING TAILGATE RECEPTION AT GVSU

Buffalo Wild Wings Sponsoring Pre-Kickoff Event For Anchor-Bone Classic

The Ferris State University Alumni Association will be holding a special tailgate reception in conjunction with the Bulldogs' Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) football game against archrival Grand Valley State this Saturday (Oct. 27) evening in Allendale, Mich.

Buffalo Wild Wings Logo Saturday's tailgate activity, which is slated to begin at 4 p.m. (EDT), represents the first-ever Ferris tailgate sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings. The tailgate will be held in Lot F adjacent to the Grand Valley State Fieldhouse near Lubbers Stadium prior to the Anchor-Bone Classic.

Kickoff for the game is set for 7 p.m. (EDT) with the winner receiving the Anchor-Bone Trophy presented by Huntington Bank.

The Bulldogs, who are currently 4-4 overall and 3-4 in GLIAC action this campaign, will take on the nationally top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Lakers in Saturday's rivalry game. Saturday’s West Michigan rivalry game will be carried live locally by WYBR (102.3 FM) with Jason DaDay handling the play-by-play duties. A live audio webcast will also be provided on FSU’s Athletics Website at www.ferris.edu/sports. Live internet statistics via “GameTracker” will also be available during the game and can be accessed through either the FSU site or www.gvsulakers.com. The game is also slated to be televised live by Comcast Local.

In addition, a free internet video and audio webcast of Saturday’s game will also be available live as the game has been chosen as part of NCAA Division II Football’s “Games of the Week” package in partnership with CSTV. The webcast can be found at www.cstv.com/ncaa/divii. A live link to the webcast will also be available thru FSU’s athletics website at www.ferris.edu/sports.
