Bulldog Of The Month Award Winners

October Honorees

Molly Basha - Women's Tennis Senior Eau Claire, Wis./Regis Registered a perfect 8-0 individual singles mark as the Bulldogs posted a 5-3 overall record and finished third in the league tournament during the month. She was 9-2 in doubles play, including an undefeated 8-0 ledger in dual matches. In addition, she teamed with fellow senior Marissa Muchow to finish seventh overall in the doubles field at the ITA National Small College Championships (Oct. 12-13) held in Fort Myers, Fla. Named GLIAC Player of the Year in conjunction with the conference tournament (Oct. 27-28) in Midland, Mich.

Mike Klobucher - Football Senior, Middle Linebacker Grand Haven, Mich./North Muskegon Recorded a team-leading 43 tackles (23 solo) in four October contests for a 10.8 tackles per game average. Produced 3.0 tackles for minus 12 yards, including 1.5 pass sacks for a loss of 10 yards. Posted one fumble recover and one forced fumble. Compiled double figures in tackles the first three games of the month, which included a season-high 16 tackles against Michigan Tech (10/7). He garnered 11 tackles versus Gannon (10/14) and had 10 stops at Ashland (10/21) as the Bulldogs posted a 2-2-0 record for October. Also named a National Scholar-Athlete and Draddy Trophy finalist by the National Football Foundation during the month.
